Camp Locations: We have hosted our summer camps at Pier 5 for the previous 5-years. We aim to host all camps again at Pier 5, Brooklyn Bridge Park this summer. Given the popularity and demand for this exceptional venue, we may need to utilize other areas of Brooklyn Bridge Park such as Pier 2 during some periods of the day to work around permitting.

Our Camp Framework: We conclude our regular camps at 2.00 pm to ensure our soccer sessions remain as productive as possible for our players. Drawing from 20-years’ experience of running camps, we recognize players & staff tire beyond 2.00 pm after long hours in the heat.

Extension Option: If parents are interested in extending the day, Everyday Athlete will be offering to bring our campers into their program for a discounted rate.

Our Camps Include:
Afternoon Camp: 1x SABA Euro 2020 Jersey
Regular SABA Camps: 1x SABA Jersey
West Ham Camp: Full Uniform & Bag

We hope to see you this summer!

SABA Player Trains at West Ham

SABA NYC B07 player Ellis Mueller took on a unique opportunity to practice and compete within West Ham United’s prestigious youth academy in London during the recent Spring Break period.

This opportunity came as part of our continued relationship with GIS who help facilitate connections with top world-known professional soccer teams in Europe.

Ellis took part in two 2-hour training sessions daily, led directly by West Ham coaches in the U.K which included current Assistant Academy Director and former player Paul Heffer.

The clubs academy have earned a formidable reputation of developing some of the best players in Europe over the years and the high standards set were evident during all sessions and coaches Ellis experienced.

In addition, Ellis was handed the chance to compete against West Ham’s U12 Full Academy team and Pre-Academy team in two live matches.

To give insight into the environment Ellis was immersed in, no pictures or footage were permitted by West Ham during the two games but an official club statician was dedicated to analyzing each academy players individual performance (pass completion, tackles won, shots on target etc.).

To complete his trip, Ellis managed to bump into current West Ham team captain Mark Nobel (see attached). Well done to Ellis who represented SABA strongly and professional in the U.K!

A reminder West Ham will be bringing coaches to Brookyln at Pier 5 this summer to work with SABA players where similar opportunities may arise for players who excel:

SABA B07 1st in Metro League

SABA NYC B2007 (u12) currently remain 1st in the recently formed Metropolitan League at the conclusion of the Fall 2018 season.

The NYCSL METRO LEAGUE is a Club based League, modeled on the NYCSL NPL platform. The Metro league serves as a pathway for NYCSL and CCSL club teams to be promoted to the NYCSL NPL league, as well as for NPL club teams to be relegated to the Metro league.

The 2007 boys won 8 from 9 games, drawing only to Barca Academy in an intense and dramatic match-up which saw Toby Alvarez, a 6-year SABA player, tie the game with an excellent free-kick late in the 2nd half.

The 2007 team will play the 2nd half of the season in the Spring 2019.
